These sessions are typically brief and focused on capturing a standard headshot that meets the school’s yearbook requirements. Because of the fast pace at which these school shoots are scheduled, the experience is usually limited in time, wardrobe options, and posing variety.
Yes, absolutely.
We recommend that seniors complete their official yearbook photo with the school’s contracted photographer to ensure they meet school requirements.
However, you are not required to purchase portraits from the school’s photography company. Their role is to provide the yearbook image, which is why the session is often brief and included at no cost.
